Consider this... Today, hundreds of millions of people all around the world will watch and listen to some of the most filthy material ever broadcast on Radio and TV. To some, this is called the ‘news’. We think, however, that ‘Bad News’ would be a more fitting and accurate description. Today's news broadcasts have become a featured daily horror show attraction, with one added tragedy - the stories are true. One after another, stories and pictures of terror, famine, war, murder and disaster continually chase each other through our radio sets and TV screens.

At the GCC, we wonder, as many people apparently do, just how much more ‘bad news’ the world can bear to watch and hear. That is why we decided to create a new format called the “Good News”. Earlier this year, the GCC successfully tested a pilot program for a weekly “Good News” Radio Broadcast on multiple stations throughout Eastern Tennessee. This “Good News” Radio Broadcast was used to tell the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things in Jesus' Name. The program was produced to Glorify God and to help spread the Gospel to hundreds of thousands on each and every broadcast.

The results of our pilot program were gratifying to say the least, and the reception from the public was overwhelmingly positive. People's hearts were touched, and lost people in the area got to hear time and time again that Jesus loves them. Now, it is time for the “Good News” to be shared with the rest of the world!

We are now working to initiate coverage of the “Good News” to other areas, both nationally and internationally as God provides. The “Good News” is being made available in both radio and TV format, so that it can be used to reach the multitudes. It's time that we had an alternative to the prolific filth and carnage constantly portrayed in conventional news programs. It's time for a little “Good News” for a change! And, as you will always hear on these broadcasts, the “Good News” is that Jesus Loves You!
