Spiritual Warfare is a Reality and It Rages Everyday...
Be Ready!
Make no mistake about it, Satan IS your enemy. He studies you, your life, and he analyzes your weak points. The very instant that your guard is down, he is sure to strike. Never forget that spiritual warfare is most critical and that it is raging all around us. Ephesians 6:11 tells us to, “put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.” Even though Satan can do absolutely nothing to change your eternal destiny, he can wreak havoc in your life in the here and now, if you allow it. Satan's plan is defined by Jesus; “Satan came to kill, steal, and to destroy”. But, Jesus defeated Satan completely and entirely, and Jesus came for this purpose; “I came to give you life, and that you may have that life more abundantly.” Satan utilizes the following methods commonly:- Satan attacks in order to draw your attention away from focusing on God and your relationship with God.
- Satan seeks to confuse God's Purpose for your life. Countless millions of Ministries, Missionary endeavors, and tremendous accomplishments for The Kingdom of God have failed to be accomplished because one person gave in to temptation.
- Satan seeks to deny God the glory that He is rightfully due that will result from you living a life of obedience.
- Satan is either accusing you to The Father, or he is accusing The Father to you. His attempt with you is to convince you that somehow God's Word does not apply to you or that it does not mean what you think that it means.
- Satan can literally destroy this life by disrupting your career, attacking your family, and seeking to destroy everything that you hold dear.
If you and I were mere men and women we would be easy prey for Satan. But, the Good News is that we are not mere men and women, we are sons and daughters of The Most High God. We are joint heirs with Jesus, right here and right now. We DO NOT stand alone! “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” In Romans 8:37 we are told that, “in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.” We overcome by the blood of The Lamb, the word of our testimony, and that we love not our own lives even to the point of death. We give our lives to Jesus. We trust in Him. We rest in Him. We rely on and cling to Him. Please, I urge you in the strongest possible terms to study and memorize the description of the “full armor of God” that is yours, and described in Ephesians 6:10-17, if you will just believe. Don't let a single day go by that you are not girded with Truth, carrying and using the shield of Faith, wearing and relying upon the Helmet of Salvation, and gripping and wielding the Sword of The Spirit. This battle is real and the stakes are life and death. Just yesterday a funeral was conducted for the teenage daughter of some friends that was little more than a baby herself. She had been tormented by Satan to the point where she lost hope of this life ever being any better, so she committed suicide and ended her young life. This WAS NOT God's Plan for this dear child's life. She was stolen through Satan's lies. You must be firmly planted in God's Word to overcome the attacks of Satan, lest you too lose Hope. Hope is not wishful thinking, it is a calm assurance that God WILL do precisely what He says that He will and that He WILL do it for you. You are, “more than conquerors” simply because you did not have to fight the battle, it is already won. You are more than a conqueror because you get the victory through Faith in the One that did fight and did win, His Name Is JESUS. All that you do is; Trust in, Cling to, Rely upon, and Adhere to, God's Own Son, Jesus. That is your position if you will take it. I Pray that you will. Keep Looking To Jesus, Dennis
